Neighbors Housing Neighbors

Homelessness Diversion Program

Neighbors Housing Neighbors provides housing, support, and case management services that help to both prevent homelessness in vulnerable populations, and provide stable, long-term, supportive housing to individuals and families previously living in transitional shelters, hotels, cars, and other substandard housing.

RCHP-AHC is a housing-first organization that has been engaging in homelessness diversion and housing activities in central NJ communities since 2006. We have robust partnerships with government and civic organizations across New Jersey to further our mission to provide affordable housing, supportive services, and connection to meaningful community to low-income individuals and families. We are committed to low-barrier housing and services and strive to create innovative programs to serve clients who would otherwise be unable to secure housing due to poor (or no) credit history, temporary unemployment, immigration status, or other factors.

Neighbors Housing Neighbors allows RCHP-AHC to utilize its lease/sublease (master leasing) model to assist homeless individuals, or those facing homelessness to gain or maintain their housing.  Currently grants allow us to serve the needs of eligible residents in Middlesex, Mercer and Cumberland County.  Grant funding is largely provided through the state of NJ’s Department of Community Affairs, Dept of Health & Human Services, and the Department of Health.

Neighbors Housing Neighbors does not provide cash assistance or emergency housing. To see if you qualify for services, please email NHN@rchp-ahc.org or call our main office at 732-249-7349 x2.
